Abstract
The deep integration of mobile internet and IoT is driving a comprehensive upgrade in communication networks—from merely providing coverage to enhancing service quality. New technologies not only solve traditional network coverage issues but also achieve intelligent, end-to-end connectivity.
Main Text
Traditional mobile internet primarily focuses on data transmission; however, when faced with the massive connectivity demands of IoT devices, issues such as network congestion and uneven service distribution arise. The integrated model, using unified communication protocols and distributed architectures, effectively improves network coverage and response speed. Pilot projects in Europe, Southeast Asia, and some Chinese cities have already shown promising results.Nevertheless, challenges remain, including inconsistent device interoperability standards and concerns over data security and privacy. In the future, with the adoption of 5G, edge computing, and smart routing technologies, the convergence of mobile internet and IoT will further enhance network performance, providing superior support for smart cities and intelligent manufacturing.
Conclusion
The integration of mobile internet and IoT is transforming network coverage and service quality. With cross-domain technology integration and standardization, this convergence model is expected to be widely promoted globally, accelerating the journey toward a smarter society.
